UMEDA SKY BUILDING
Located on the top floor of this 173-meter-high consolidated high-rise building is the Kuchu Teien Observatory, which provides breathtaking panoramic views of Osaka’s cityscape. The glittering Osaka night view is a must-see. Inside the building are also movie theaters and restaurants, and various seasonal events are held in the “Wonder Square” plaza on the 1st Floor, such as the flying of carp streamers between the East and West Towers for Children’s Day and a German Christmas Market. *There is an admission fee for the observation deck.

Osaka Castle
The castle was built in 1583 by Hideyoshi Toyotomi as his base for governing Japan. The Main Tower is surrounded by a charming moat and items associated with Hideyoshi and valuable historic documents from the Sengoku era are exhibited inside the castle.

HEP FIVE Ferris Wheel
This big red Ferris wheel is a landmark of Osaka’s Umeda district. Ride in one of the fully air-conditioned cars to enjoy a magnificent 360° panoramic view. On clear days you can see as far as Kobe, the Akashi-Kaikyo Bridge, and Mt. Ikoma in Nara, and at night, the Osaka night view spreads out below as far as the eye can see.
