Hanshin Koshien Stadium
Hanshin Koshien Stadium was opened in 1924 for the purpose of holding high school baseball tournaments. Since then, the stadium has been the stage for countless famous games as the holy land of high school baseball, as well as the home stadium of the Hanshin Tigers professional baseball team, giving birth to many heroes. During baseball season, you can enjoy watching baseball games while munching on Koshien’s three most famous snacks—“Koshien Curried Rice,” “Koshien Yakisoba Noodles,” and “Jumbo Yakitori.”

This waterfront park features movie theaters, resort hotels, and Kobe’s famous landmark Kobe Port Tower. Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens and Ropeway
One of the largest herb gardens in Japan, the Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens boast approx. 75,000 flowers and herbs from some 200 varieties blooming from season to season, across 12 gardens of varying themes. Visitors can stroll leisurely along the paths winding around the hills and flower beds, while enjoying the colors and scents that give a sense of the season. The gardens also have many other attractions, including a restaurant building modeled after the Wartburg Castle, a castle in Germany that dates from the Middle Ages.

Osamu Tezuka Manga Museum
This museum is located in Takarazuka City, where the master manga creator Osamu Tezuka lived for about 20 years from the age of 5. In the interior space, which recreates a page from a Tezuka manga, are various displays of items with connections to Osamu Tezuka as well as numerous works. In addition, visitors can have their drawings animated and participate in various other experiences in the “Anime factory,” which is equipped for actual anime production.
